This documentary is a tribute to Jean Eustache, influential but little known French film maker who past away in 1981.

Parallel to but distinct from Nouvelle Vague, he had a substantial impact on a entire generation of film makers. His films remain to this day a source of inspiration. The film illustrate his work and his life.
