Paris Fantômes

Documentary, 52 minutes, 2002

Director: Ruth Zylberman

Synopsis:

The stones, what do they tell us when we look at them? I look, I see, I listen; rue de Navarin, at the corner of rue du Rocher and rue de Rome, rue Marie-Rose; from one bank to the other, the echoes of my familiar ghosts and the others... I follow, like the pebbles of a Little Thumb, the path of the stone squares; on the facades of the Parisian buildings, the commemorative plaques attract me, draw me towards the country, the city of the old times, they speak to me of the succession of ages.
